Why we built it
The premium water shelf
was a wall, not a list.
Most South Africans have never been offered a real choice in water. A trip to the supermarket is two or three Italian names on a high shelf and a wall of plastic on a low one. There is no curator. There is no opinion. There is no story attached to anything in the glass.
We built AquaCart because we thought we could do better — for the people who actually care. Six brands, chosen for what they bring to the table. Three Italian icons because they earned their place. Three South African originals because the local water deserves the same shelf.
Every brand we carry is from a single source. Every one tells you where it came from, what filtered it, and why it ended up in our box and not on the supermarket aisle. We don't carry water we wouldn't pour. And we don't pour water we can't explain.
What we believe

Six brands is enough. More than that is a list, not a curation. Every brand here exists because it brings something to the glass the other five don't.
Local belongs on the same shelf.
South African water can match Italian water, glass for glass, when you choose well. Three of our six brands come from sources right here. We argue for them by stocking them.
Service is local too.
We deliver only in Johannesburg — properly, ourselves — because that's the only way we can promise the experience matches the product. Free on every order over R850.
